Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge
Introduction
Copper River Wilderness Lodge is a fabulous new lodge at the confluence of the Copper and Klutina Rivers near the gates of America's largest national park, Wrangell-St. Elias. Nestled on a bluff, a 20-foot wall of windows frame dramatic views of 12,010-foot Mt. Drum and the waters from which the famed Copper River salmon hail.

This premier Princess Lodge features 85 rooms and suites with either mountain or forest views; a two-level dining area with excellent mountain and valley views; and the focal point of the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge- the Wrangell Room- with a staircase that takes you to the mezzanine level where you can relax and enjoy the majestic scenery provided by a two story wall of windows.
The heart of the lodge is the dramatic Wrangell Room with its open timbered ceiling, grand curving staircase, native stone fireplace, and open, multi-level design. Snuggle into an oversized chair by the fireplace or on the upper mezzanine landing.

Trademark touches like an expansive outdoor deck with hot tubs, charming restaurants serving Alaskan cuisine, a gift shop and a Princess-staffed tour desk await you. Other amenities include the Two Rivers Restaurant, Whistle Stop Bar, meeting room, an all-day espresso bar and airport shuttle service to Gulkana.
With breathtaking views in all directions, every spacious guest room promises a mountain or forest view. Comfortably appointed with in-room amenities, Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is the perfect combination of modern means and the rustic outdoors. Enjoy a room with one king bed or two doubles, a sitting area, TV, hairdryer, telephone clock radio, desk and ceiling fan.
Anytime you stay with Princess, you're sure to sample outstanding cuisine in a remarkable setting. That tradition is continued at the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, with a dining experience for every taste. The Two Rivers Restaurant features a two-level dining area with beautiful mountain and valley views, the perfect complement to any fine dining experience. For casual fare and hearty drinks the Whistle Stop Bar is a must.
Set on 200 acres of untouched forest, yet only four miles from the Wrangell-St. Elias visitor's center, this true wilderness retreat offers a host of outdoor activities to explore the area with an array of excursions. Getting to the lodge is half the fun. The Klondike express catamaran takes you from Whittier to Valdez across scenic Prince William Sound for a thrilling two-hour wildlife viewing adventure. The motorcoach ride along Richardson Highway takes you through the Chugach Mountains for panoramic vistas of Thompson Pass and Keystone Canyon, then features a photo stop at the mighty Worthington Glacier.
Visit the friendly staff at the tour desk to customize your Alaskan adventure. Options include flightseeing over Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, McCarthy and Kennicott Mine and Historic District tours, numerous rafting options from mild to wild, sport fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and many more.
For business or pleasure, the staff at the Lodge are on hand to make any meeting a special function. Whether it's an intimate cocktail party or reception, the Lodge offers the utmost in privacy and comfort. The lodge can accommodate meetings of up to 25 people.
